Welcome to this little exploration in documenting my thought process and building a professional identity online. My name is Kathryn Greenan, and this project came to be as a result of History 3907B – Data Mining and Visualization at Carleton University taught by Dr. Shawn Graham in Winter 2015. It lives on as a record of a massive failure, and determination to learn from the experience.

As hoped in HIST3907B, I’ve now set this up as my home base online for anything academic. The main blog currently details the process of HIST3907B, but at some point in the future this site should hopefully be a little bit more robust. A portfolio is currently in the works, and will contain select works from my undergrad. Stay tuned for updates, particularly from HIST3907O – as I return to the course that broke me and pushed me on over to the other side.

You can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn, GitHub, or send me an email.
